- The Competition is open to Caribbean ladies between the ages of 18-28.
- Any contestants whose age does not conform to the stipulated age limit will be immediately disqualified from the competition.
- The Contestant must be single, never married not hold a criminal record nor have children and must be born female.
- The contestant must always be on time and must participate in all activities of the contest as per the official schedule.
- Contestants will make 4 appearances on the Grand Coronation night, opening presentation, swimwear, talent and stage interview.
- The winner of the pageant must, during her reign, first obtain consent from the organizers to participate in any other pageant.
- The official application form must be signed by the contestant.
- The contestant gives permission to Miss Caribbean Metro beauty pageant and its sponsors the use of her photograph or services for commercial purposes.
- The contestant agrees that any conduct on her part at any time, which in the eye of the pageant committee, will discredit the image of the contest shall result in the contestant immediate dismissal from the pageant.
- Only 3 winners will be chosen, 2nd runner up, 1st runner up and the Winner. The winner will receive a crown, a trip, $1000 in cash or kind and other valuable prizes. 1st & 2nd runner ups will receive valuable prizes.
- Each contestant will be allowed 3 minutes for the talent category. Please notify the coordinators of any special technical needs at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Each contestant will have her photo & short bio printed in the official Miss Caribbean Metro USA program book. Contestants are welcome to purchase additional ad to thank sponsors and supporters. Family members are allowed to place ads for their daughters in the pageant. Prices are as follows: $100 full page color, $75 half page color. Please submit ad no later that July 3, 2011.
- Each category of the pageant counts a percentage of the total score. The 6 contestants with the highest score will advance to the 2nd segment. The finalist will be asked 1 question each. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be announced. The categories are as follows:
Presentation: 10% - Overall presentation of yourself and your country/sponsor, poise and confidence.
Talent: 25% - Each contestant will perform a talent with a maximum of 3 minutes. No lip syncing.
Swimsuit: 15% - Swimsuit will be provided by Miss Caribbean Metro coordinators. Contestants will be judged on appearance and physical fitness.
Evening wear: 20% - Contestant will be judges on poise, grace, personality and elegance.
Interview: 30% - articulation, grammar, personality and level of communication.
